BHM project resource for December

The SportCheer England Black History Month Project is a year-long, monthly project, providing education and support for gym owners and coaches on how to create safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for Black athletes.

This month we are focusing on Racism as a Safeguarding issue and the practical ways in which your club can safeguard Black and racial minority athletes.

For the past 2 years SportCheer England has been working with the NSPCC’s CPSU (Child Protection in Sport Unit) to improve safeguarding across the sport of Cheerleading. The CPSU have created a short webinar on the subject of racism as a safeguarding issue in sport which we are sharing as this month’s resource.
